That's a commonly asked question in the carpet cleaning trade.

The most honest answer I can give is, they all are,at least that's what every one's advertisements say. I have cleaned carpets for 28 years and during my career have used three out of the four recognized methods for carpet cleaning. I think all the methods work well, when done by the right crew or company that really cares about giving the customer a good job.

According to a National Testing Institute, of the four methods tested, the DRY-FOAM system with pre-vacuuming was rated as the best in all three testing areas. It has a higher soil removal, a faster drying time, and a longer resoil time than any other system. First by pre-vacuuming, unlike other methods, most all of the dry dirt is removed before any water or spot removers are applied to the carpets. Unlike steam cleaning which uses high volumes of water to flush the dirt away. DRY-FOAM uses about a half a gallon of water per 100 square feet being cleaned. So the drying time is much shorter, usually less than half a day. It is a deep cleaning system using a rotary scrubber similar to a carpet shampoo machine, but unlike shampoos, DRY-FOAM is a non-residue,dissipating system. This means there is no film or residues left to reattract soil or dust and the carpets dry in a more fluffy state. Remember the fluffier a carpet remains the more soil and dust a home-owner can remove with just a regular vacuuming.

So whats the best method for carpet cleaning? Well I have my opinion or you can just call around. They'lll say they have the best method, then call me. I would be happy answer any questions you should have.

Data, it’s the life blood of your company.

Virtually every aspect of our businesses is now reliant on information that we keep in electronic format. Things like client contact information, billing, and other accounting data, company forms and critical information files reside on our corporate networks, and we all rely on that information in everyday business. Loss of this information can result in thousands of hours of labor to recover or recreate, and in some cases the failure of the business!

This critical data has also spread into our personal lives with computer data at home in the form of things like personal accounting, family photos, home movies, and much more. We rely on our home and office computers to store this data and make it accessible on demand.

This brings up the importance of keeping this data safe, and preventing loss. The question is, do you have adequate backup copies of your data, the critical life blood of your business? Many businesses use systems like RAID arrays to make their data available and redundant, but this does not always guarantee the protection of their data, The only sure fire way to protect your data is to have multiple copies in the form of backups.

We never know when disaster can strike, drive failures, tornadoes, fire, and theft, can rob you of your data in seconds. Having your data stored in multiple backup copies and stored in multiple locations is the only way to assure your data, both home and personal, is safe. It’s not as complicated as it sounds. A simple backup run daily to a hard drive, and moved to an offsite location regularly is the key. Having two such backups allows you to have one running while the other is safely locked away.

It is critical that offsite data be stored in a location that is dry, secure, fireproof and protected from theft and storms. Good storage locations include bank vaults, fire and water proof safes that are secured to the ground floor of the building, and underground storm shelters that are not prone to flooding and are locked when not in use. Just making backups does not assure they will be available if they are not safely secured away from the original data.

By keeping an offsite backup, you can assure that you can be back in business in a timely manner after a disaster. Remember, it can be something as simple as a failed server hard drive, or a theft, or as devastating as a fire or tornado and your data can be gone. This includes treasured photos and family documents at home. Keeping backups is now easy, automated, and inexpensive. The only thing requiring human action is putting the backup strategy in place and making sure data is moved off site frequently.

Don’t take chances with your business or personal data. If you don’t have a backup strategy or have questions, I will be happy to assist, you can message me here or give me a call. So now that you are armed with information, go make a backup and keep it safe!

Communication

The most important thing in customer relations is communicating effectively

COMMUNICATION is the key to successful implementation of any advertising and marketing campaign. It is as simple as that. You can have the flashiest design or the most intricate marketing plan but if it doesn’t communicate what you want, what good does it do your business?

Communication is how an Advertising Agency or Design Firm becomes a valuable partner for your business. A good Advertising or Design firm has the experience and the expertise to provide you with solutions to best communicate your product or service to your customers. When you think about the clutter of information out there today, television advertising, direct mail, newspaper and magazine advertising, brochures, e-mail, etc., it’s clear the message your business has to send must be concise and stand out from the rest of the clutter.

Advertising and Design firms work to become experts on your business and help you develop your brand, create a marketing plan, then help you implement the plan with experience, great graphic design and writing to better communicate your message to your customers and potential customers.

When you have an engine problem, you call a professional mechanic, and when you have an electrical problem, you call an electrician; experts in the field. When someone needs your product or service, they call you because you are an expert in your field.

Why should you have an expert communicator? The sole purpose of an Advertising and Design firm is communication, and they make it their business to expertly communicate your business’ message to the public the best possible way, so you can increase business and increase your business’ profits.
